Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse - 10 Reasons To Be Excited
6. We Might Get More Spider-Verse Films
While Into the Spider-Verse is very much a Miles Morales feature, Lord and Miller have hinted that other Spider-Men could be featuring in it as well, in which case, more Spidey-themed animated features could be on the cards.
It's not as though the wall-crawler's short on alternate timelines either. Spider-Gwen, who'll be featuring in the upcoming Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors, has already attained cult status in the years since her initial introduction, with the concept of a world where Gwen Stacy became Spider-Man resonating with fans right across the board from the very get-go.
There are other Spider-Men to explore too, from right across Marvel's library. There's Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099, and there's Spider-Man Noir too, who fights gangsters in prohibition-era New York.
Point being, there's major potential for Spider-Verse to be the next big thing, and if those other Spideys are on Sony's radar, then there could be material for years to come.
