Star Wars: 10 Ideas For A New Disney+ Series

1. A Procedural Cop/Detective Series

How was this not one of the first things on Disney's roster?

In a universe where the entire galaxy is constantly under threat, wouldn't we all like to see a little lower-class threat being resolved. The series in question could be set in a metropolitan city (did somebody say, Coruscant?) and focus on a group of lawmen or a task force as they fight organised crime, underbelly dwelling serial killers or mischievous aliens peddling tainted death sticks.

Fans only got to see glimpses of Coruscant in the prequel films, and while everything was seen through the lens of high-rise apartments, rooftop gatherings and Senate assemblies, we know there is a deprived lower level and we absolutely know some dark stuff goes on down there.

Within the realms of the series lies a very tech-noir promise where a grizzled Cerean, dressed in a thick trench coat and sipping a cup of blue milk, is pushed to the edge as they try try to work around the bureaucratic red tape of the Senate and Old Republic.

Set the series pre-Order 66 and you could even whip up a few Jedi consultants to aid our Coruscant Guards as they investigate the murder of a Jawa who knew too much about illegal droid smuggling operations. This thing writes itself!!

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
