Star Wars: 10 Ideas For A New Disney+ Series

3. A Crime Family Series

As much as The Book of Boba Fett is a great show, was anyone else just a teeny bit disappointed that it didn't stick to the (supposed) promised premise of being a Sopranos-style crime novella that would have shown the dismantling of the Hutt dynasty and a new one take over.

Fans of Star Wars know that organised crime is a big part of the series, and is not exclusive to Tatooine either. As we've seen in previous shows, films and a couple of comics, there's opportunistic gangs everywhere and Disney is walking past a golden goose by not tapping into that idea.

A series that follows various crime families across the galaxy, vying for control over some unspecified territory would be a true delight to watch. With back-blasting and throat-lightsabre-ing set to jazzy music, it could be the gritty and sombre series that really puts audiences on edge. It could be Star Wars' answer to Game of Thrones as multi-series arcs follow multiple families with betrayals, alliances, shady deals and a lot of stakes.

With the scum and villainy of Tatooine, the death-stick dealers in the underbelly of Coruscant and of course, the overarching reach of Crimson Dawn, there are plenty of avenues to go down.

It'd be a killer series - quite literally in some cases.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
