No one wants to be generic. The easiest way to get recognized at Comic-Con this year is not being another dashing Luke Skywalker, but a smooth talking Lando Calrissian. Be the guy or gal people don't expect and maybe even put a spin on it that really stands out. Who knows, might even land you a three-day romance with some fellow cosplayer. However, do not be the guy or gal who's costume is simply too elaborate. Wearing something that looks like it took over forty hours to make says just as much about your ingenuity as it does your personal life. As cool and one of the kind as the outfit might be it's just a bit too much. You might find that gorgeous twi'lek walks off with Lando instead; especially if she can't even reach you through your exuberant get up.
