5. Tatooine Sandstorm - Return Of The Jedi

After summarily wrecking Jabba the Hut, Luke, Han, Leia and Lando venture back to the Millennium Falcon and Luke's X-wing, but must first traverse an unforgiving sandstorm.

While hardly as necessary a scene as Yoda arriving on Dagobah, it does add a little more adventurous flavour to Han's rescue, especially as Harrison Ford gets another opportunity to drop some one-liners in the middle of the storm, and shares a nice human moment with Luke before they go their separate ways.

Sadly only a primitive, unfinished version of the scene exists with the dialogue never reaching the dubbing stage, but this version nevertheless cements that it would've been a visually intriguing addition to the film.
