Star Wars: 14 Awesome Deleted Scenes You Won't Believe They Cut

4. Grievous Murders Shaak Ti - Revenge Of The Sith

Pretty much any extra material that emphasises General Grievous' bada**ery is totally welcome, considering that one of the biggest complaints about Revenge of the Sith is how underwhelming he comes across on-screen.

This deleted scene from the start of the movie shows Grievous holding Jedi Master Shaak Ti hostage, before promptly executing her in front of Obi-Wan and Anakin.

It not only further demonstrates Grievous' villainy in speedy fashion, but he also goes on to clarify to the audience that his lightsabers are taken from Jedi he's killed over the years, which is another neat wrinkle.

With a recent reference book confirming Shaak Ti's canonical death to be at the hands of Darth Vader during Order 66, there's sadly no possibility of this scene ever being officially included in a future version of the film (hugely unlikely though that was anyway).
