Star Wars 7: 10 Supporting Characters Who Should Cameo

10. Kitster

At this point, it seems likely that someone is going to end up on Tatooine in these new movies - it's tradition, and they're certainly not going to stop now. The two most obvious choices are Luke and/or Leia: Luke grew up there, and Leia has to know by now that this is where her birth father was from, so the planet is probably an object of curiosity for her. If either of them found themselves back on Tatooine, it seems only natural that they would want to find out more about Anakin, especially now that they're both parents themselves. And who better to shed some light on the subject than Anakin's oldest friend, Kitster? The young boy didn't have a particularly large role in The Phantom Menace, but we know that he was supportive of Anakin's dreams and very close to the Skywalkers. In one of the Expanded Universe novels, Leia encounters an older version of Kitster, and his insight into his childhood friend's character leads her to begin to forgive her father for his actions. Obviously, the film probably couldn't devote a ton of screen time to something like this, but we think it would be a subplot well worth having.
