Star Wars 7: 10 Supporting Characters Who Should Cameo

3. Lando Calrissian

Lando's a no brainer. Of course every Star Wars fan should want the smoothest mother in the galaxy to show up in the new films. Billy Dee Williams is still alive and well, and it would be nice to see what Lando does when he's not switching sides faster than Italy in a world war. He's obviously a very close friend of Han Solo, so it would be relatively easy to write him into a scene or two, depending on Williams' availability and health (after all, the dude is 77). It also doesn't hurt that he's one of the most famous characters from the franchise, and even casual viewers would probably be able to identify him. At this point, it seems unlikely that he is going to appear in the first film (it's hard to believe that we wouldn't have heard something about it by now), but there are two more films in the works, and plenty of time for a deal to be made that would bring Lando Calrissian back into the mix.
