Star Wars Episode 9 - 8 Most Outlandish Fan Theories

5. Snoke Will Possess Rey And Kylo's Baby

Over the last few months there have been rumours and supposed plot leaks that point to Rey having a child in Episode IX, and despite no official confirmation on this matter whatsoever, many fans have ran with the idea of Rey and Kylo having a baby.

Over on Reddit, user Mapafius has done just that, speculating that Snoke always wanted two powerful Force users - one of light, one of dark - to awaken, so that he could get them to make a "force-baby" that he could possess.

The theory states that, in Episode IX, Rey will inexplicably get pregnant, neither she nor Kylo will know that the baby is theirs, and the child could be revealed to be a reincarnation of Anakin. Alright then.

Why It's Outlandish: If fans didn't like a scene where Leia uses the Force, is Lucasfilm really going to put an evil Snoke-baby into Episode IX? Oh, and Snoke is dead, so he ain't going to be doing any possessing any time soon.

Besides, infant manipulation doesn't seem like the sort of thing Disney would knowingly put into one of their movies. It would probably funny, but it's also pretty stupid.
