4. Holdo Is Alive

A new character introduced in The Last Jedi, Vice Admiral Holdo sacrificed herself by ramming her own ship into the First Order fleet while at lightspeed.

And even though "sacrificed" here means "killed", there are still those out there who believe Holdo managed to survive the incident and will appear in Episode IX, like bowman1968 over on Reddit.

The user states that Holdo could have cut through the fleet like a knife, instead of ramming it and exploding, and as a result, she could emerge from the other side alive; with a severely damaged ship, yes, but not one that's blown to pieces.

Why It's Outlandish: The sheer speed at which Holdo's ship was travelling - combined with the strength and resilience of the object she comes into contact with - means that it would be impossible for her to survive, let alone her ship make it through in one piece.

For Holdo's small ship to make that big a dent in the giant First Order cruiser, she'd need to absorb a ton of energy, meaning that her ship would be absolutely decimated. Even if she did make it out the other side, she's almost out of fuel and would be stranded in space with no help.

Besides, bringing back dead characters is a dangerous game to play, and Holdo isn't exactly someone that fans are clamouring to see again.
