Star Wars: Everything We Know So Far About The Obi-Wan TV Show

The Canadian filmmaker, whose works include 2010's The High Cost of Living and 2014's Flowers in the Attic, has already cut her teeth for Lucasfilm, directing the third and seventh episodes of The Mandalorian (and cameoing as an X-wing pilot in the sixth installment).

It's particularly notable that Chow was chosen for the pivotal third episode of The Mandalorian, where the character makes a decision that changes the entire course of the series. The general consensus is the director managed to portray this moment exceptionally well, with subtelty, minimal dialogue and entirely believable development.

The resulting action sequence was also extremely memorable.

Interestingly, whereas Chow was one of several directors in The Mandalorian's first season, she is expected to be the sole director of the Kenobi project.
