9. Probe Droid

After Boyega pops up and ignites an embarrassing race debate amongst unimaginative Star Wars fans, a short sound clip plays that has miraculously gone by unnoticed in all the trailer speak. Obviously that scratching bleeping is a probe droid, not seen since The Empire Strikes Back. Some have assigned it to the rolling droid seen in the subsequent shot, but while Ben Burtt does occasionally reuse sound effects, this one's so distinctive it can only belong to one thing. Thematically, when coupled with Boyega's anxious expression, it obviously sets up his character's on the run. Practically it could easily just be a bit of thrown-in iconography to ground the trailer in nostalgia, but it'd be great to see the highly unsecretive spies back again.
