Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer - 9 Things The Teaser Didn't Show
7. Riz Ahmed's Character (Bodhi Rook)
Though the Rogue One teaser gives us a good look at a lot of the supporting cast members, including Diego Luna, Donnie Yen and Forest Whittaker - A.K.A. the rebels who will join Felicity Jones in stealing the Death Star plans - there's one notable character who is missing from the trailer entirely.
That would be the one played by Riz Ahmed, whose name has been rumoured to be the very cool "Bodhi Rook" after it was supposedly revealed in an accidental tweet last year, courtesy of BBC reporter Lizo Mzimba (one that has since been deleted).
Ahmed is probably best known for his role in Nightcrawler, which saw him as Jake Gyllenhaal's reluctant partner in crime. His work in that film was excellent, and so I'm expecting great things from him here.
Is there a reason we don't get to see Bodhi in this teaser, though? Why wasn't his face flashed up on the screen with the other supporting characters, given that he's part of the team? It certainly seems strange not to have included him at all. Commence the wild fan theories!
