4. Seeing Chewie Actually Do Something

Okay, so some people loved what Chewie got to do in The Last Jedi because some people are weird and love porgs, but it's still definitely fair to say that he was painfully under-used in the mainline sequel. To be frank, the same was true of The Force Awakens.

The best thing about jumping back to the past when he's a sprightly 190-year-old is that we'll get to see Chewie living up to his reputation as Han Solo's own personal Groot. For years, the Wookiee has been hyped as a vicious brute who nobody should get on the wrong side of, but there's been precious little substance to the threats.

But watching him choke slam an enemy and really getting involved in the action, rather than sitting next to Han whinging about how bad an idea everything is is a great sign that we'll be getting an All Action Chewie in Solo. And if you're not here for that, you don't deserve Star Wars.
