15. Lightsaber-Proof Stormtroopers
The Flametroopers not the only Stormtrooper getting an upgrade, and it looks like this one can do battle with a lightsaber. As we see this new Stormtrooper going up against Finn and his blue lightsaber, the Stormtroopers weapon is apparently unharmed. Lightsabers can cut through almost anything, so its always a bit of a shock to see it have no effect on something. The official Star Wars databank refers to new First Order Riot Control Stormtroopers that have specialized weapons. There are a handful of lightsaber-resistant materials out there, and presumably one of the upgrades to these weapons is that theyre made from one of them.
Movie / TV enthusiast with a DVD and Blu-ray collection bigger than I'd care to admit. If anyone is offering creative / furniture solutions to house them, I'm all ears.
