5. Obi-Wan Appears As A Force Ghost

The Rumour: After Ewan McGregor had a voice cameo in The Force Awakens during Rey's vision sequence, theories and rumours began to emerge that he would have a live-action role in The Last Jedi as a Force ghost, who would presumably appear before Luke or Rey.

The Truth: Obi-Wan is completely absent from the film, sadly, though fans craving some abundant fan service certainly got their fill with a fantastically poignant cameo from Yoda, in puppet form no less, as a Force ghost.

At least with an Obi-Wan solo movie reportedly set to start shooting in 2019, fans probably won't have to wait too long for McGregor to reprise the role (unless Lucasfilm foolishly decides to recast him).
