13. Is Poe Going To Have More To Do (And What About BB-8)?

Poe Dameron, the greatest frickin' pilot in the galaxy (definitely true after the death of Han Solo), was probably the coolest new character in The Force Awakens - thanks, in no small part, to the irrepressible charm of Oscar Isaac - and yet also rather underused.

He is presented as one of the three main new heroes, but with lots of other characters to give screen time to, can they find a bigger role for Poe Dameron? While we know Rey will be training with Luke, and Finn is off on a mission with Kelly Marie Tran's Rose, little has been said about Poe, and he didn't feature in the trailer much. It means just how he fits into this story is currently unclear.

Of course, with Poe comes BB-8, the breakout star of Episode VII who could steal even more hearts second time around. Rian Johnson described him as being the movie's Buster Keaton, but apart from comedy how much will we see of the droid? Will he purely be with Poe, or could he work with Rey again too?
