But would they have the audacity to bump off the legendary Luke Skywalker? According to countless Star Wars fans on social media, they absolutely would.

Some believe the Last Jedi moniker emphasises the fact that the Jedi are on the way out to make way for a new breed of 'grey' Force users, the line ending with Luke.
Others have pointed to Luke's new mentor role in the Star Wars universe as a bad omen. Teachers in the ways of the Force tend to meet their maker at some point - Yoda and Obi-Wan are classic examples.
