Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Every Deleted Scene Ranked From Worst To Best

8. Rose Bites The Hand That Taunts Her

The Last Jedi contains plenty of moments which show that Rose possesses the same determination and fighting spirit as her sister, so this extra one - where she bites General Hux's hand - wasn't needed at all.

This scene also shows us how much Rose's necklace means to her, something we're reminded of numerous times throughout the movie, rendering an additional beat like this completely pointless.

Johnson chose to remove this scene so we could get back to the throne room fight quicker, and considering how excellent that fight is, it's hard to disagree with his logic.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too.
