Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker - 10 Reasons To Be Worried

2. Trying Too Hard To Stick The Landing

The Rise of Skywalker is not only going to be the final film of the sequel trilogy, but the entire Skywalker saga (supposedly), and that puts a lot of pressure on the filmmakers and cast to stick the landing. The reality is, though, there’s just no way it will please everyone.

While it's not going to be the last Star Wars movie ever made - unless Lucasfilm continues their track record with directors and future projects turn into Disney+ shows instead - The Rise of Skywalker is supposed to end the entire franchise's overarching story up to this point. That's more than 40 years of story to wrap up, and multiple generations of fans eagerly awaiting.

But no matter what, even if the end is good, not all fans are going to be pleased. That's just the reality of it.

If Abrams and co. desperately try to please as many fans as possible for this finale, it could cause the film to collapse in on itself and ultimately please no one, which given the missteps of this series so far, wouldn't be so hard to do.

It may just anger people more than The Last Jedi did.
