Steven Spielberg: EVERY Movie Ranked Worst To Best
7. Catch Me If You Can (2002)
Steven Spielberg, as we've seen, is something of a genius when it comes to detailing the lives of real-life people.
With his drama-thriller Catch Me If You Can, the director can be found chronicling the unbelievable story of Frank Abagnale Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio), a conman who lived numerous lives and tricked the government out of millions of dollars along the way.
The film not only sheds light onto how Frank did what he did, but also humanises him as much more than just a devious criminal.
DiCaprio gives one of his best performances as the conman, and the film is made all the more amazing by the roles of Tom Hanks and Christopher Walken. Funny, dramatic, almost tragic in its assessment of the complexities of Frank Abagnale, Catch Me If You Can is Spielberg at the height of his powers.
