Suicide Squad: 10 Major Spoilers From The Script Leak

5. There's Some Terrible Technology Stuff

Unfortunately, for every thing that Justin Marks gets right in his script, there are a dozen that play into some of the most tired, hackneyed and just awful action movie tropes going. Of course, part of the appeal of Suicide Squad is the novelty of a blockbuster A-list action film taking place in the DC Universe €“ with supervillains and stuff €“ but still. Ideally, it wouldn't be a bad action film. From the looks of it, though, it's faceplanting into some ridiculous Blackhat territory with its understanding of technology, with one of the principal antagonists the Squad will be facing off against being a prime example of that. One of the beats during that opening airport sequence involves a shadowy figure wiring a USB stick into an AC adapter, and then plugging it into a wall. Which is totally how that works. And he'd know, because he's Digital Djinn, a living computer virus! No thanks.
