Suicide Squad: 10 Past Jokers Way Worse Than Jared Leto's

4. "On Star" Joker

Between 2000 and 2002, on board communication/navigation/security company OnStar teamed with DC to produce six Batman themed commercials in an effort to increase OnStar memberships. These ads were a piecemeal of remnants from the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman films. The batmobile in the ads is from the Burton films. The Batman suit was pieced together from stuntman Batsuits in the Schumacher films. Even Michael Gough (A mainstay through the initial four films) appears as Alfred Pennyworth in the commercials. One thing OnStar was not able to procure were the acting talents of Jack Nicholson as the Joker. Instead, Curtis Armstrong...yes, "Booger" from "Revenge of the Nerds", was cast. Armstrong's performance comes off like an impression of Bruce Campbell doing and impression of Nicholson's Joker. Had Bruce Campbell been the Joker, even for a mere 30 second ad, it is likely that worlds would have collided. Dark would have become light. Warring cultures would have lived together in harmony, and this Joker would have never in a million years made this list. As it is, it was Booger. 'Nuff said.
