Suicide Squad: 10 Past Jokers Way Worse Than Jared Leto's
5. "Young Justice" Joker
Like "Galactic Guardians", Joker only appears in one episode of "Young Justice". Oh, where to begin? This take on the Joker would look more at home at a "Vampire: The Masquerade" convention. The mini-fangs, emo haircut and fingerless gloves just miss the mark when it comes to what makes a truly great Joker. Brent Spiner (Commander Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation) does a passable job voicing the part, but he isn't given much to work with here. Just because the character is only in one episode doesn't mean the writing has to be one-dimensional. The writers tried to capture the darkness of Heath Ledger's Joker, but failed to include the one element that makes him more terrifying than his fiendish counterparts: Utter unpredictability. He's dark. He's evil. He...sounds a bit like Serpentor from G.I. Joe. Probably best left to only one episode.
