3. "The Caped Crusader" Joker

The two don't connect and can be played in any order. In an all-to-familiar plot, Robin has been captured by The Joker and it's up to the Dark Knight to rescue him. The game progresses in a series of annoying, pop up panels that are supposed to mimic the look of a comic book. When the World's Greatest Detective finds the Joker in the middle of a carnival, Batman need simply kick The Joker until he drops a rope. Once this happens, Batman simply picks up the rope and walks away. Joker, presumably, isn't killed or arrested. Robin is supposedly rescued. If this were a list of unsatisfying video game endings, this would still hold the same place on the list. This Joker is a product of his time and technological limitations, but still...
