Suicide Squad: 25 Biggest Questions Left By The Dumbest DCEU Movie Yet

14. Why Does Deadshot Put On His Mask For One Fight?

For the fight in the office building (because no showdown with these generic baddies is complete without a generic setting), Deadshot puts on his white mask. But why? What's the purpose of that mask? The opening implied he wore it to hide his identity, but against these balloon heads that shouldn't really be a concern.

The behind-the-scenes answer lies in another costume change; for this one scene only Harley's wearing a rather fetching jacket, implying that the whole thing was shot independently of the scenes surrounding it. That's right, it's a reshoot, and Deadshot's mask is hiding that it's either not Will Smith or he's changed his hair (probably shaved that beard).

Suicide Squad ain't no Fant4stic in terms of how freaking obvious its reshoots were, but there's still scenes like this that display a distinct lack of interal logic.
