12. Why Didn't Rick Flagg Shoot Harley?
When the Joker turns up in a heavily muted reveal (seriously, there's no attempt at mystery, they just cut straight to him in the helicopter), he deactivates Harley's neck bomb (which makes sense in a very rushed sense - he does have the guy who can program it, apparently), allowing her to escape. Waller catches on a little too late, trying to get Flag to blow her brains out to no avail.
Just shoot her, for f*cks sake. Flag has a gun and Harley's making a real meal of reuniting with her Puddin (sic). Just because you have the neck bombs doesn't mean you can't kill any deserters another way.
It's an accidentally perfect comment on our obsession with technology, but in the movie itself it's just another nonsensical character moment.
