Suicide Squad: How To Fix The 5 Biggest Casting Mistakes

4. Enchantress

Who's Playing Her? Cara Delivigne Why Shouldn't It Be Her? No disrespect to Cara Delivigne, but the only real reason that she's been cast in Suicide Squad is to widen the target audience. Best known for her modelling and general schmoozing with the stars, she's a hot tabloid topic, so casting her here guarantees a whole avenue of coverage outside of the geek press (similar to her bit part in Pan). In all fairness her move into acting has been fairly successful - she was good in Paper Towns, even if all it basically required her usual sultriness, only with an American accent - but if Enchantress is going to be as big a part of the film as rumoured, we could do with someone with a bit more experience. Who Should It Be Instead? Mila Kunis Why? Kunis has an established screen presence, which would be necessary if Enchantress really is the movie's "antagonist", but she is also proven in dual personalities (a key part of the witch) thanks to her work on Black Swan and (sigh) Oz The Great And Powerful.
