Lyle Mitchell Corbine, Jr.'s head-turning directorial debut Wild Indian is a quietly epic, time-hopping thriller covering the experiences of two men (Michael Greyeyes and Chaske Spencer) who, as children, were involved in the murder of a fellow youngster.

Unrelentingly grim and unapologetically incomplete, Wild Indian is a mesmerising snapshot of the ghosts which can haunt a human being, not to mention the challenging nature of identity in a diverse American landscape.

Michael Greyeyes delivers a stunning performance as protagonist Michael, in a film which has cult classic status written all over it and should ensure many are lining up to see whatever Corbine's next project is.

Wild Indian is awaiting distribution.
