Terminator Genisys: 10 Iconic Moments It Must Revisit

4. Arnie To The Rescue

When Arnold Schwarzenegger stepped down from his role as Governor of California in 2011, he immediately sought a return to movie screens and lined up a number of projects to reignite his Hollywood career. Easier said than done as it turns out: five films into his comeback The Expendables 2 is the closest he€™s come to a hit, so the Governator€™s falling back on some old favourites in the hope of rediscovering his box office mojo. It€™s not a Terminator film without Arnie€™s T-800 somewhere in the mix, and this time around there will be an ageing version to match Schwarzenegger€™s advanced years, as well as an appearance by the original model courtesy of some CGI de-ageing. Judging by the welcome party he has in store, it doesn€™t look like things go so well for the younger model, but the older version will likely prove pivotal to the plot, once again taking to the streets on a badass motorcycle. T2 features a superb action set piece in the drainage canals of L.A., and they€™re stepping it up this time by using San Francisco€™s iconic Golden gate Bridge as the setting for what promises to be a key sequence. They€™ll have to go some to match the pace and drama of the T-1000€™s relentless pursuit of John Connor, but at the very least it€™s a satisfying nod to a classic Terminator moment.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
