The Batman: 10 Characters Matt Damon Could Play For Affleck
1. Red Hood
There's already been a lot of talk of Red Hood appearing in Affleck's solo Batman outing. It always felt like the "Jason Todd is dead" reveal from Batman v Superman was going to lead to the spin-off, and early rumours suggested that was exactly the story Affleck and Geoff Johns planned to adapt.
That might not be the case (since Affleck claims he's presenting a new story), but that doesn't mean Red Hood can't appear in a new framework (as he effectively did in the Arkham Knight video game). There's something very compelling about the idea of this Batman being continually haunted by his past decisions and having one of them literally personified in a heroic rival and enemy is the logical progression of that story.
Again, Damon would be more than capable of handling the physical demands of the character, and there's something pleasantly cyclical about the idea of Damon and Affleck coming back together at this stage in their careers to explore a rivalry. That'd be all sorts of meta-fun.
