The Batman: 10 Characters Matt Damon Could Play For Affleck

It might not be everyone's first choice, given the fact that it's one of the more recent major arcs, but a Batman film focused on the Court Of Owls would be a great unexpected swerve.

It's a hugely compelling story, and in Talon - the Calvin Rose version - it introduces an adversary for Batman who is his equal in almost all aspects. He's a trained assassin, almost unkillable (to the point he's been revived) and he ends up being morally conflicted and joining forces with the Bat.

Damon would be an interesting villain, that much is certain, but he'd be an even better anti-hero who ends up defying his masters to ultimately align with Batman after trying to kill him initially. There's even a sort of Jason Bourne-like spirit to Rose to add to the appeal.

And of course, any opportunity to see the iconic labyrinth sequence on a big screen should be grasped with both hands.
