The Batman: 10 Characters Matt Damon Could Play For Affleck

Perhaps it's just me, but the idea of Batman more explicitly dealing with the power of fear by going full horror is one of the most irresistible possibilities for future Batman movies. And if that included some role for anti-hero Simon Dark, then count me as doubly excited.

Dark is basically DC's superheroic version of Frankenstein's monster, constituted of 20 dead children and gifted major powers including the ability to bring others back from the dead. He draws on a little of the Crow's popularity too, and he's one of Batman's more interesting sidekicks, but he'd be the most fitting for a film with a more supernatural slant.

That too could be used as the launch-pad for Dark to get his own movie - which should have happened already - and having someone like Damon playing the character would give him far more legitimacy than a lesser casting. It would also be incredibly intriguing to see a mostly clean-cut actor flexing his darker muscles as he has in places briefly before.
