As a sequel to The Avengers, Age of Ultron left a lot to be desired in 2015. Ultron was far from the quality of villain that Loki was three years prior, and despite the additions of Wanda and Pietro to the team, the movie just fell somewhat flat.

The best part of Age of Ultron came before the Maximoff twins turned face and joined the Avengers, when Scarlet Witch played with the minds of her future teammates. Tony saw his friends die, Thor saw Ragnarok, and Cap revisited the past he could never know again. While these would all come into play later in the MCU, it was the Hulk's reaction to Wanda's mind games that stole the show in Age of Ultron.

Simply put, the Hulk became angrier than he had ever been, and thus stronger and more out of control than ever. In pitting the Hulk against Tony and Bruce's new way of dealing with the monster, Age of Ultron gave us something never before seen in the MCU.

The Hulkbuster armour was something special, and was something that fans of the comics had dreamed about seeing in live-action for some time. The battle levelled an entire town and was a huge part of the reason why Banner ultimately left Earth at the end of this second Avengers movie.
