The Community Movie: 10 Things We Want To See

Yes, unfortunately, it's time to get morbid for a second, but it's crucial, as the upcoming Community movie has the chance to do something exceptional here.

Greendale closed its doors all the way back in 2015, which is damn near close to a decade. As such, it's no surprise that a few of the cast members have tragically passed since then. One loss that really will make a noticeable absence in the movie, though, is Richard Erdman, the man behind Leonard.

Leonard was hardly a central character, but he grew from being a background extra to a major supporting role, having a surprisingly large impact on some episodes. It's going to be tough to see Greendale without the raspberry-blowing old cook, which is why the movie should make a deliberate effort to pay tribute to the actor, who passed in 2019.

Of course, while Erdman certainly deserves attention, it would also be sweet to see some love given to other stars of the show who are no longer with us, such as Betty White, Fred Willard and Michael K. Williams.
