The Single Biggest Mistake Every James Bond Film Has Made

8. Goldeneye: Peaking In The Middle

It's hard to find flaws in Goldeneye, for it is one of the all-time greatest Bond films and a truly amazing action flick overall. Still, it doesn't quite keep the momentum going to the very end. The finale is strong overall, but it's overshadowed by the amazing sequences in the film's middle section.

Ideally, an action film should peak at the finale, so this is a bit of an issue. Still, looking on the bright side, Goldeneye certainly isn't alone in this regard. Plenty of mostly great action films, such as fellow Bond entry Casino Royale and Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, peaked too early as well.

Regardless, it's a great film and the best of the flawed but underrated Pierce Brosnan era.
