The Suicide Squad: Ranking Every Task Force X Member From Worst To Best
3. Harley Quinn
The only main character to star in both Suicide Squad films without being killed off was Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. She's evolved tremendously since that 2016 release; she no longer requires a single mention of the Joker - her ex-partner - in order to maintain relevancy, for example.
It was, however, crucial that she didn't steal the spotlight; that belonged to Idris Elba. Margot's return to Task Force X remained a highlight, ripping every sort of emotion out of you. Like the aforementioned hand-based 'patter' from King Shark, Quinn forgetting who Milton was (rest in peace, we hardly knew ye), was also hilarious.
Harley underwent a vast array of stories during the film; her engagement to Silvio Luna, Corto Maltese's dictator, was a slick subplot executed to perfection. As Luna, Juan Diego Botto must be thanked for playing such a devious character who, when paired with a perennial fan favourite character, comes across as a complete d*ck.
Because of the film's brilliant pacing, every second of Harley's on-air time was meaningful, culminating with her transcendent dive into the eye of Starro in the final act.
