2. It Took Three Thors To Stop Him

Over the millennia of his existence, Gorr fought Thor four times technically. The first was a young Thor that wasn’t yet able to lift Mjolnir. In the present day he renewed his rivalry with the God of Thunder, before heading to the future to build his godbomb and besiege King Thor on Asgard.

In each of these instances there was a certain level of success for Gorr, though not when he was forced to face all three versions of the God of Thunder together. After he used the Time Gods of Chronux to go into the future, Avenger Thor followed him, though he missed his mark by 900 odd years.

He teamed up with his future self, and they were later joined by the young Thor that Gorr himself had taken to the future to be his slave. Gorr was only defeated after fighting all three at the same time.

Though he seemed to be heading to victory, Avenger Thor, with both his and King Thor’s hammers, absorbed All-Black the necrosword and the power of the godbomb, before young Thor decapitated the now powerless God Butcher.
