Thor: Ragnarok - Predicting Who Lives And Who Dies

Prediction: Dies, but then lives.

If the comics are anything to go by, Thor will die and then profit from a friend's great sacrifice.

Why?

There's no way Thor dies permanently in Ragnarok, because he's confirmed to be in Infinity War (and killing him off wouldn't really fit his arc anyway without that consideration).

But having him killed by Hela as a means to show off her powers and to set up an even bleaker progression of their arc for Infinity War would be almost poetic. We should all now accept that Thor loses Ragnarok, because of what we know about his appearance in Infinity War, and it makes way too much sense that that involves him being killed by Hela in the final act, only to be revived when Sif gives her soul for his.

And what a way that would be to give Thor an even bigger reason to want Thanos to fail - to spite Hela and take back Asgard in the process.
