Top 10 Musical Sequences In Non-Musicals

1. Young Frankenstein (1974)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co6-tYS9k1U In one of the most beloved comedies of all time, the great Gene Wilder takes the brain of an Abby Normal person and reanimates a corpse. Though most people envision Frankenstein's monster as an uncontrollable beast of a being needing to be controlled with pitchforks and torches, that's not really Brooks' style. The way Peter Boyle's monster is showcased in this film is as a classy yet misunderstood man, wanting nothing more than to dance to the 1920's song Puttin' on the Ritz. When the performance goes awry as a stage light breaks, the monster becomes angered and violent. The same way everyone reacted when Taco released his version of the song. Honorable Mentions: Blue Valentine, Pulp Fiction. Did I miss any? Leave a comment or find how to reach me in my bio below.
