Other spirits, played by Alec Baldwin and the now-rarely-seen Geena Davis, also reside in the home. When the Deetz' have a dinner party, the guests find themselves possessed by the spirits of the house. Unable to control their bodies, they find that they're powerless to the rhythms of the song Day-O (The Banana Boat Song), a Jamaican folk song made famous by the King of Calypso himself Harry Belafonte.
