Transformers: The Last Knight Reviews - 10 Early Reactions You Need To Know

4. ...But It's Still Better Than The Last One

Transformers Age Of Extinction

"More coherent than “Age of Extinction,” the third act of which took place in Beijing for no other apparent reason than to outsource the production to China, 'The Last Night' lands a lot of good laughs with its cartoonish robots and equally over-the-top chemistry between its two leads." - Indiewire

Yes, the script sucks, and at the time of press the average score on Rotten Tomatoes is the lowest of the series, but a number of reviewers nevertheless came out to insist that the film, in fact, wasn't as bad as either Revenge of the Fallen or Age of Extinction.

The shorter length, less-abundant cringey humour and unthinkably daft narrative seemingly contribute to The Last Knight being a bad movie, but not quite as atrocious as some of the other entries into the franchise.

That's a relief, kinda?
