15. Killer Steamroller - Maximum Overdrive
The Stephen King-directed Maximum Overdrive is an absolutely insane sci-fi horror film about a rogue comet causing all of our earthly machines to become sentient and turn murderous against the human race.
Despite its barmy premise, the film was a critical and commercial bust upon release, and remains a firmly niche cult movie to this very day - one you absolutely need to see if you haven't.
The film is packed with memorable kills, the best of which sees machines crash a Little League game.
After the team's coach is killed when a vending machine fires canned soda at him, one of the young players falls afoul of a driverless steamroller, which flattens the fleeing child after he trips over.
Even though the actual moment of the kid's death is only fleeting, the brief glimpse of him being levelled by the steamroller is unforgettable.
Rumour has it that the original version of the scene was far more graphic, but King ended up cutting it down to appease the censors.
