11. V/H/S: SCP
It was recently confirmed that the next entry into the V/H/S horror anthology series will be a music-themed romp called V/H/S/Mixtape, and so you might've missed that the 2027 entry has also already had its title and theme announced.
Next year's installment will be V/H/S: SCP - an anthology that will incorporate lore from the popular Internet collective fiction project known as the SCP (Special Containment Procedures) Foundation.
The SCP is responsible for capturing, containing, and studying all manner of supernatural phenomena and keeping their existence secret from the wider world, and each of the stories presented in the V/H/S film will be rolled into this universe.
It's certainly a strange and unexpected route for VH/S to take, especially with so many other themes the series could draw from, but at least the emphasis appears to be on the right thing - weird, horrific entities that have escaped containment.
