8. Minn-Erva
In The Comics:
For pretty much her entire history Doctor Minverva has been a villain to Captain Marvel, whether that be the original Mar-Vell incarnation or Carol Danvers. She's also fought against Quasar in the past, and is considered much more of a rogue in her later years, once serving the Kree as an agent and geneticist before deciding to scheme against Marvel and their allies fulltime.
In the comics, she also takes on a different look. She's worn distorted, evil-esque versions of the uniforms worn by Vell and Danvers, and is a nasty piece of work all around.
In The Film:
Minn-Erva is played by Gemma Chan in Captain marvel, but instead of wearing a red and blue uniform as she does in the comics, she retains the Kree's signature black and green garb. She only briefly interacts with Captain Marvel, but she reveals that she had a long-standing hatred for her during battle, and enthusiastically carries out her orders to arrest her when some other members of Starforce hesitate.
Although Doctor Minerva is a recurring villain in the comics, she actually dies in Captain Marvel while fighting Maria Rambeau. She's shot down in a canyon, but there's always a chance she could return in the future.
