What Your Favourite Arnold Schwarzenegger Movie Says About You

The Expendables 2

The Expendables 2The Movie: After a brief appearance alongside his action legend friends Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone in the first movie, Arnold and Willis have much bigger roles in the sequel. The sight of all three on screen kicking ass and blowing shit up is what people paid to see in the film for. It has to be said that the film did take a shift away from the seriousness of the first Expendables movie, and basically served as a celebration of all the cheese, and one liners and action that the 80s action stars are known for. The blatant references to chuck Norris facts whilst funny, were eye roll inducing, but we accepted it in the spirit of good fun. More successful was the take on Schwarzenegger€™s famous catchphrase, which managed to do a much better job than had been done of making a jokey reference to it in Last Action Hero. Whilst under heavy gunfire Schwarzenegger tells Willis €˜I€™ll be back€™ only for Bruce to cut him off in true John McLane style with €œYou€™ve been back enough, I€™ll be back.€ Not to be outdone in the catchphrase stakes Arnold steals back his response from Willis by saying €œYippee ki yay€ with a dry sarcasm. The-Expendables-2-Wallpapers-15_1What It Says About You: Here€™s a few things you almost certainly own if this is your favourite Arnie movie; a downloaded soundboard app of movie quotes, a really cool belt buckle with a skull on it and a set of dumbbells which you either use religiously or decide to break out every time you€™ve watched Schwarzenegger in action only to realise thirty seconds later that you have something really important you were about to do, so will leave the weights until tomorrow. You spend hours with friends where the entire conversation is composed from quotes said by the stars of the 80s. There may be a few minutes pause between anyone speaking as they think up the next suitable one liner, but it will be found. Soundbite: €œYippee ki yay Adrian, I€™ll be back for the sequel!€ Favourite Non Arnie Movies: Wreck It Ralph, Who Framed Roger Rabbit
