Terminator 3 Rise of The Machines
The Movie: It took years to follow Terminator 2 Judgement Day with a sequel, and whilst Schwarzenegger did return for the film James Cameron, Lynda Hamilton and Edward Furlong did not. The result was enjoyable, but not a patch on the first or second films in the series. The action is good and proved that Arnie could still be a dominant force at the box office after a string of films which failed to ignite the ticket sales. Whats interesting in this film is the differences between the versions of T-800 that Schwarzenegger plays in the different films. In the first one he was the emotionless killing machine, whilst the second introduced the idea that a terminator can learn to be more human is a chip is activated in their CPU. The version he plays in this film certainly seems more human, but the dialogue makes him seem less believable as a machine. Theres a couple of instances where he makes wise crack one liners to Kristanna Lokens T-X, and this really isnt logical. The two terminators in Judgement Day never spoke a word to each other face to face because they didnt need to. Why would they? There was no need for communication between two cyborgs.
What It Says About You: You were so desperate for there to be a third Terminator film that youd already decided that this is going to be the best thing ever. Youd argued with friends and family who had claimed there was no way it could live up to number two, and so set were you with your belief that this movie would be the bees knees you couldnt admit it when it all turned out to be a bit pants. You also have a strange obsession with Kristanna Loken and always try to encourage girls to dress as her to Halloween parties. They can barely remember the costume you mean, and this frustrates you greatly.
Soundbite: Hes back...yay. No go away again.
