Wonder Woman Movie: 10 Signs It Might Actually Be Good

9. It's The First Part Of A Trilogy

It may have taken Warner Bros. a long time to get their act together, but they have big plans for the DC Cinematic Universe. For Wonder Woman, that apparently consists of a trilogy, and it's always easier to get excited about a superhero movie when it's clear that the studio has big plans for the lead character. In Wonder Woman's case, it will be with a series which actually ends up putting the spotlight on an nearly an entire century of her adventures. With the first movie set to take place in the 1920s, the sequel will apparently jump forward to World War II as Wonder Woman is somehow inserted into that epic and horrific conflict. The third movie will then focus on her present day adventures as a member of the Justice League, and each of these stories could lend themselves to a trilogy of their own if told the right way. The fact that the studio is seemingly plotting out Wonder Woman's adventures in such a grand way definitely serves as an indication that they're taking her seriously too. Of course, a trilogy happening ultimately depends on how well the first instalment performs at the box office. It's likely that the bulk of her origin story will be told in 2017 just in case.
