7. Which New Mutants Will We See?

MarvelThis has got to be a lot of fun for Simon Kinberg. The wealth of characters at his disposal to include and recycle from the entire X-Men comic canon (obviously with the exception of those hes unable to due to rights stipulations) is gargantuan. And whatever number gargantuan is in your head, double it. Most of them have evil twins, alternate universe selves and bizarrely conceived half-sibling/selves. In addition to ones mentioned a few pages ago, theres Jean Grey and Scott Summers son - known in the Age Of Apocalypse universe as Nate Grey, who could be in the running. Out of the eleven Apocalypse series, Nate Grey earned his own title - X-Man - in which he battled legions of Apocalypses minions and obliterated his factories. Later on, he turned up in the finale fighting alongside his biological parents. Itd be a fitting tribute to the character, who fought hard against Apocalypse. And because he and his normal-universe self, Cable, both share twisted, twisted conception stories thatd be intriguing to see played out onscreen. Should The Amazing X-Men team come into play, itd be killer to finally see Dazzler in the cinematic universe - especially considering Bryan Singers April Fools Gag earlier in the year. Dazzlers ability to turn sound into light, along with the remaining unseen member of the team Exodus, who has superhuman healing and strength, would be the perfect chance to see fresh mutant meat! And of course, Sabretooth would be a most welcome addition. How could we forget him? Especially as the film will be rewriting Wolverines Weapon X origin, which featured the quippy half-brother mutant of Logan. Getting Liev Schreiber back in the saddle would be an opportunity to get closure on the mess that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
