X-Men: Apocalypse Trailer - 8 Major Revelations From Bryan Singer's Q&A
2. Quicksilver's Huge Return
When X-Men: Days of Future Past's Quicksilver was officially revealed, fans widely ridiculed his appearance and remained steadfast in their belief that this interpretation simply wouldn't top what Marvel had planned in Avengers: Age of Ultron. How wrong they were. Evan Peter's brief appearance in the "inbetweenquel" ended up stealing the show, and it sounds like that will once again be the case in X-Men: Apocalypse. "Theres one sequence that took one and a half months to shoot for three minutes of film. It involves the most complex camera moves, very sophisticated explosive algorithms, 3D Phantom cameras travelling at 50mph while shooting at 3,100 frames per second. Evan worked more days on this movie than any other actor because of this one sequence." That sounds awesome, but here's the kicker - it'll be set to a famous 80s pop song. What that is remains to be seen, but here's hoping it's as fitting as Jim Croce's "Time in a Bottle"! Any theories?
